I delight in Umbrian sunsets. Throughout winter, when the sunsets are at their best, I exchange my favourite sunset photos with my friend in Perugia. In the summer I love taking pictures of the dawn, the sun rising over the hills of the Umbrian countryside. This playful tradition has had the effect of concentrating my attention on the ombré lighting effects found in my part of the world.
